Teacher clarity will help elevate your instructional practice that transforms student learning. Why is it important?
🔍 It gives students direction: Students need to understand what they are learning and what success can look like, so their brain is hooked and engaged into the lesson. There is no guesswork in "what am I supposed to be doing right now."
🧭 It supports self-regulated learning: Having clear expectations helps students reflect on their learning and understand the progress they are making in the lesson.
🤝 It strengthens teacher-student-family communication: Clear learning goals makes it so easy to provide targeted, in the moment, bite size feedback to students that they can put into practice right away.
